Top 10 suburbs in Greater Brisbane where the most houses have sold

According to the most recent PropTrack data, Brisbane City has continued to dominate Greater Brisbane by selling the most properties over the past 12 months.
In the past year, the Brisbane CBD has sold 768 units in total, nearly 300 more than any other suburb in the capital region.
The median unit cost in the CBD is $540,000, which represents a 4.9% annual increase; however, prices have increased by 67.4% just in the past three months.
In Greater Brisbane, Redbank Plains came in second with the most sales of any Ipswich suburb. 456 homes were sold at a median price of $518,500, an increase of 15.2% over the previous 12 months.
North of Moreton Bay in Caboolture, where 450 homes have sold for a median price of $573,000, came in second place.
In South Brisbane, 442 units were sold at a median price of $541,000 over the course of the past year, a mere 0.1% decline.
With 400 units sold at a median price of $401,500, Fortitude Valley continued the inner city's dominance. This number has decreased significantly over the past 12 months by 14.5%.
The following suburb, North Lakes, in the southern part of Moreton Bay, had 374 homes sold for a median price of $717,500.
West End, another inner city suburb with 369 unit sales and a median price of $610,000, came in seventh overall.
There were 368 home sales in Morayfield and Narangba, both in Moreton Bay's north, with median prices of $581,000 and $732,000, respectively.
With 346 home sales and a median price of $641,500, Springfield Lakes in Ipswich rounded out the top 10 most properties sold in Greater Brisbane over the course of the previous year.
